Job Description
CGI is inviting fresh graduates to join their technology team as Java Developer Apprentices. Candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of core Java and a strong interest in developing scalable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Participate in team discussions, code reviews, and agile processes
Collaborate with internal teams to understand software requirements
Debug and resolve issues efficiently
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and coding best practices
Required Skills:
Good knowledge of Core Java and OOPs concepts
Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate (added advantage)
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Eligibility Criteria:
B.E / B.Tech in CS / IT / ECE
Minimum 60% in 10th, 12th, and graduation
Internship or academic projects in Java will be an added benefit
