Job Description
HashedIn by Deloitte is seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong backend development experience to join their dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable APIs and asynchronous services using modern Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django REST Framework (DRF), or Flask.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain APIs using backend frameworks like FastAPI, Django REST Framework, or Flask.
Build asynchronous, I/O-bound services leveraging asyncio for high performance and scalability.
Write comprehensive unit, functional, and integration tests using Python testing frameworks such as pytest.
Manage Python packaging, dependency management, and virtual environments using tools like Poetry, pip, virtualenv, and venv.
Design, read, and optimize SQL queries; interact with databases effectively and improve schema design.
Utilize Python data libraries including Pandas and NumPy for data manipulation and processing.
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
Solid experience with backend web frameworks: FastAPI, Django REST Framework, or Flask.
Expertise in asynchronous programming using asyncio.
Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest to ensure code quality.
Knowledge of Python packaging and virtual environments management.
Basic to intermediate understanding of SQL and database interactions.
Familiarity with Python data processing libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
