Job Description
Amazon is seeking Software Development Engineers (SDE I) to join the Grocery Technology Team in Hyderabad. Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable software solutions in a distributed computing environment
Implement modern techniques including Generative AI-based solutions
Collaborate with product and engineering teams across Amazon
Build fault-tolerant, cost-efficient systems for storage, indexing, and querying
Write high-performance, maintainable, and clean code
Create predictive and intelligent systems leveraging data on distributed platforms
Engage in Agile practices like sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and reviews
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 1+ year of non-internship professional experience in software development
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or Python
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Exposure to distributed systems, cloud computing, or big data platforms
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment
